Is it Buddhism that's wrong, or is it the celebrity? I am not a Buddhist (or a celebrity, for that matter), but I've never before heard anyone suggest that Buddhism requires rejecting all thoughts. I could be wrong, but I thought (oops) that in Buddhism "no self" has to do with the idea that we don't exist as selves that are distinct from everything else. That separate selves are the illusion, and the reality is that our self is made up of non-self parts, and the deeper we look at that, the less we are able to find a separate self.
