There are male and female introverts, who recharge by being alone, and male and female extroverts, who recharge by being social. The stereotypes in this article feel old and tired to me. I do agree it's good (and sometimes difficult) to respect people's need to be alone, but it's limiting to try to stuff everyone into predetermined boxes. Then, you may see only what you expect to see and miss the richness of what is actually there.
