Westward Ho: Lost in Rego Park
Journal Days 54 to 56: Life in my little corner of NYC in the age of the coronavirus, Wednesday, May 13, to Friday, May 15, 2020
It was 85 degrees today, so within a single week we’ve had both snow and our first day of summer weather.
For my walk, I crossed over into the neighborhood that I think of simply as “West of Yellowstone Blvd.” in search of the hills that give Forest Hills its name. I was looking for some gentle exercise that would get my heart and breathing rate up a little — nothing too strenuous.
I passed a couple of new buildings under construction. Here’s one:
